Join the Good Authority team in watching the first U.S. presidential debate between Vice President Kamala Harris and former President Donald Trump. To keep things interesting, I asked our editors and contributors to share a few key words or phrases we might expect to hear during the debate.
More than one person mentioned China, but responses ranged from AI to Venezuela. I used editors’ and contributors’ answers to compile some bingo cards for our readers, giving us an opportunity to give away some stickers and buttons to winners.
The 5×5 bingo cards consist of a free square and 24 randomly drawn (and randomly placed) terms from the following list: AI, allies, billionaire, border, cats, China, chips, communist, [cooking reference], decline, Elon Musk, felony, fracking, groceries, Hannibal Lecter, hope, human rights, invasion, Israeli security, lie, marijuana, NATO, Palestinian rights, prison, Project 2025, Putin, reproductive rights, solar, student debt, Taiwan, Taliban, tariffs, [thumbs up], union, Venezuela, and very nasty woman.
The debate will start at 9 p.m. Eastern time Tuesday and will air on ABC, who will broadcast it on TV and streaming. We’ll be watching the debate and following social media conversations that tag us. Join us!
How to play:
Access your bingo card using this link. As you watch the debate, put an X over any box once the word or phrase therein is mentioned. If you get five Xs in a row, either vertically, horizontally, or diagonally, you win! Email contact@goodauthority.org an image of your completed bingo card and your mailing address before debate night ends, and we’ll send you a Good Authority button or sticker (your choice).
