Does anyone have any current research either on (1) the effects of the last government shutdown on public opinion or (2) the defeat of President Bush’s efforts to privatize social security? Either I think would be of great interest to the media right about now, and I would be happy to post a quick summary here on The Monkey Cage. Also, in a related vein, does anyone know if you can search the MPSA Program by keywords? You can do it by panel, presenter, section, etc., but I haven’t been able to find a way to search by topic. Similarly, there is an archive, but that only runs through 2009. Thanks!
