Pat Egan, a professor in in the political science department at NYU, will be blogging with us this week and next. His focus will be the _Perry v. Schwarzenegger_ case currently underway in California, and the politics of same-sex marriage more broadly. Pat has worked on a variety of topics in this area, including the effect of Supreme Court opinions on public opinion as well as public opinion about “constitutional controversies.” See also this New Yorker piece for several tidbits from Pat.
