bq. I made word clouds of all of the comments by Democrats, and then by Republicans, in the House’s 4-hour general debate on health care from last Saturday. I scrubbed out all remarks made by the presiding Speaker, plus common words and phrases like “Mr. Speaker” and “I yield.”
Two quick observations: the prevalence of the word “government” in the GOP comments (you can also see “billion” and “trillion” in there), and the prevalence of the words “insurance,” “coverage,” and “affordable” in the Democratic comments.
