Central America already gave us a soccer war, are we now getting a Google Map war? Nicaraguan troops have entered Costa Rican territory allegedly motivated by a Google Map drawing of the border that assigns the (disputed) territory to Nicaragua. Google’s representative denies responsibility:
“Although Google maps are of high quality and Google works constantly to improve and update existing information, in no way can they be used for the military decisions between two countries.”
