We’re pleased to have Jonathan Robinson contributing to The Monkey Cage for the next several months. Jonathan is a senior at George Washington who intends to pursue a Ph.D. in political science. He has already been involved in a lot of political science research himself, as the link above illustrates. You’ll see him on the masthead at right.
Jonathan will be helping us with some back-end labors; for example, he will likely be the reason we finally get a Facebook page. He will also be primarily in charge of writing two new recurring features:
- “Graphiti,” where we’ll feature a particularly interesting graph with minimal supporting text. This feature taps the blog’s interest in the display of quantitative information and will also give the blog more visual pizazz .
- A weekly “round-up” of political science research. (We still need a catchy name for this feature.) The purpose of the round-up is to link to more political science research than we currently do. The round-up will also focus on research that speaks to the week’s events. A lot of this research will be new or newly published, but we will also draw on older pieces when they are relevant.
You may also see him post other things from time to time. We’re glad to have him aboard.
