Jennifer Hochschild, as befits the holder of an endowed chair at America’s most prestigious university, is an extraordinary scholar. Possessed of a vast intellectual range and keen insights, she is the author of several truly important books, she was the founding editor of the APSA’s Perspectives on Politics journal, and she is simply one of the very best and brightest that our profession has to offer.
