Economist Ariel Rubinstein offers some advice to graduate students. To me, the funniest bit is when he wrote that serving in the Israeli Army is “an ideal situation to get some real work done,” and then follows this up with, “there are other circumstances that I can recommend for inspiration. But since this advice would not be considered Politically Correct these days, I will refrain from providing more details.”
Telling people to join the Israeli Army . . . you can’t get much more politically incorrect than that!
